Serve

Every Christian has gifts and abilities given to them by God for the benefit of others and the church.

Exploring opportunities to serve

At Central, we believe serving is an important part of following Christ and building His church. We are a diverse and vibrant community who use the different skills and abilities God has given us to build one another up.

Ways You Can Serve

  • Prayer – Prayer is at the heart of everything we do. You can support the church in its mission by praying.

  • Sunday Services – Contribute to our Sunday services and help create a space of joyful worship for people to worship our great God.

  • Welcoming – Help everyone who attends our Sunday services feel at home at Central.

  • Cooking – Use your culinary gifts to prepare meals that bring people together in fellowship and community.

  • Children’s & Youth Ministry – Share the love of Christ with our kids by teaching, caring for, and encouraging them as they grow in life and faith.

  • Community Engagement – Connect with, support, and care for those in our local community during the week.

  • Partnering with HopeStreet – Serve with our ministry partner, HopeStreet, to provide practical support to the vulnerable and marginalised in our city.

And more! Speak to one of our pastors if you have other ideas for serving our church and local community.
