Our purpose is to bring glory and honour to our Lord Jesus Christ through worship and making disciples of all nations.

Our hope and prayer is that, by 2030, Central Baptist will be a:

A church that is known as a place of vibrant Christian ministry in the heart of the city of Sydney.
Lighthouse
A church that shines the light of Jesus in all we do.

A place of belonging where all are welcomed into the family of God.
To support this vision, there are five areas we’re going to focus on. They are:
Community Hub
We want to be a place of rest and peace where a whole range of people can come through our open doors and encounter the love of Jesus in the heart of the city.
Families
We want to be a church that welcomes, supports and caters for every member of each family, and helps them feel that they belong.
Students
We want to be a vibrant community that equips tertiary students living and studying in Sydney.
Leaders
We want to joyfully raise up and equip leaders, who are then sent out to serve throughout the Kingdom of God.
Facilities
We want to be a church with clean, functional buildings that honour our history and serve our various ministry needs.
